What primary services do you offer?

We help families plan for the future and navigate the transitions that follow a loss. Our services include comprehensive estate planning packages and estate administration, including probate. Because Alex is trained in mediation, we can also help families resolve estate disputes and related conflicts without going to court, saving time, expense, and relationships.

What are the rates of your services?

We know that the uncertain costs of legal services can be stressful, so we strive to be as transparent as possible about what your costs will be. All estate planning work is done for flat rates. Other matters are handled at a flat rate if possible or, if not, hourly (ranging from $350 - $450).

When is the right time to think about legacy planning?

A good rule of thumb is - if you need a minivan, you need a good plan. In other words, if you have children, you really should have a package of planning documents prepared in case something should happen to you. Without proper planning in place, you’re leaving the fate of your children up to a complete stranger (a Judge). You’re also leaving your loved ones without a roadmap. If they disagree about how things should go, the result could be costly and ugly litigation. Getting your planning done is not only the responsible thing to do, it’s also an incredible gift to your family.

Do I need an attorney for my probate matter?

Not always, but many people find that having one makes the process faster, less stressful, and less prone to costly mistakes. Probate involves strict deadlines, court filings, creditor notices, asset valuations, and tax obligations, and errors can delay the estate or leave the personal representative personally responsible.
