FAQs

What primary services do you offer?

We offer estate planning packages, family law services and contract drafting for household staff. Alex is trained in mediation and collaborative practice, which allows our office to offer litigation alternatives to clients.

What are the rates of your services?

We know that the uncertain costs of legal services can be stressful, so we strive to be as transparent as possible about what your costs will be. All estate planning work is done for flat rates. Other matters are handled at a flat rate if possible or, if not, at an hourly rate of $400.

When is the right time to think about legacy planning?

A good rule of thumb is - if you need a minivan, you need a good plan. In other words, if you have children, you really should have a package of planning documents prepared in case something should happen to you. Without proper planning in place, you’re leaving the fate of your children up to a complete stranger (a Judge). You’re also leaving your loved ones without a roadmap. If they disagree about how things should go, the result could be costly and ugly litigation. Getting your planning done is not only the responsible thing to do, it’s also an incredible gift to your family.

Do I really need an attorney for my custody matter?

Whether to hire a lawyer or not can be a major source of stress at the outset of a dispute. If you feel like “lawyering up” can escalate the conflict and make things unnecessarily expensive and acrimonious, you’re not wrong. But at the same time, when it comes to your kids, it’s so important to get things right. Don’t go it alone. I will do my very best to get you the assistance you need without amping up the drama.

Let’s get some things checked off your list.
