Built from experience
In 2022, Alex was fourteen years into a successful legal career—and a mother of three—when she was diagnosed with a neurological condition that would require brain surgery. As she faced the biggest “what if” of her life, she realized she and her husband didn’t have an estate plan in place—despite her years of experience in family and estate law.
That moment changed everything.
She saw firsthand how overwhelming this process can be, even for a lawyer. And she knew two things right away: If it’s this hard for her to get her legal life in order, it’s even harder for everyone else—and life is too short to wait on your dreams.
So she opened Acorn Law: a firm built on clarity, compassion, and the belief that every family deserves peace of mind.
